I have long had a love for a form of poetry known as 'spoken word' and been awed by the work of others as they have skillfully crafted words to create magnificently powerful imagery. For some time I've wanted to try creating a piece myself but not found the inspiration or the imagination to do so.
This Easter, as I reflected upon the events of the cross and the resurrection I found myself lost in a wonder of words and the the result is found in the video here. Forgive me when I stumble over the words, it's anything but a polished delivery or masterfully edited video for that matter. For all it's flaws however, my hope is that you might find something of the sense of joy and blessing as you hear it, that I found as I wrote it.
